I-70 East Reconstruction Peer Review & White Paper

Five members of the Transportation Planning Division provided an onsite professional peer review of the Colorado DOT’s proposed reconstruction of Interstate 70 through northeast Denver, including a proposal to replace a 50-year-old viaduct with a lowered highway between Brighton Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard.

The Transportation Planning Division was asked to organize this panel because we are recognized as the nation's "go-to" resource for transportation planning expertise. Their aim was to objectively apply their expertise to a local project that could benefit from an external review.
